Citizenship Documentation Requirements for Medicaid Eligibility; Opportunity for Comments

Dear Colleagues,

Here is an opportunity to comment on proposed requirements for documentation of citizenship for Medicaid Eligibility. Although this is a rather lengthy document, it is an important opportunity which I hope you will weigh in on. These requirements have the potential of seriously stagnating the application process as well as reducing the number of qualified individuals who actually obtain and retain Medicaid as a result of the cumbersome process. Not to mention reducing the Medicaid revenues to health centers.
