Splint Question

I am 10 wks post-op. On my bill from the surgeon there is a charge

for a surgical splint that I was billed for a week before I actually

had my surgery. It was billed on the day of my pre-consult. Anybody

know what that might be, I talked to my insurance company and they

resubmitted the claim cause they didn't know what it might be either

and suggested if the bill didn't change to call my Doc. and try to

find something out.
