A Free Workshop for Parents This workshop is designed to provide parents with an overview of Assistive Technologydevices and services. Discussion and hands-on activities will address the use of AT within educational programs, as needed, to support students' access to learning. Parents will gain an understanding of the assessment process to determine a student's need for AT, the selection of appropriate AT devices and how AT can be effectively used in school settings. Participants will be provided with a packet of resources to take home with them.
