Guest guest
Dear Kimber; If you are not having a menstruation cycle, does that mean you are also not ovulating? Also, does this mean your hormones aren't doing whatever it is they are supposed to? I had a hysterectomy 21 years ago, but they left the ovaries " so I would not have to take hormones " and I know I only ovulate 3 to 5 times a year. It just got me to wondering . . . If the hormones are still working then I wonder if it is the pain that causes a domino effect, because I used to get horrible migraines that time of month also (and is it the pain that causes the increase in Pancreatitis attacks). Anyway - I don't miss it I have been very busy at work and out of town so I am a little out of touch so I will just say a general " Hi and hope everyone is doing okay. " Also, if anyone is interested in being a State Representative in the following states I would appreciate an email (gwest1955@ aol.com). As you can see, I have quite a few openings. It is great to see that many of you are planning to attend the 2003 Symposium. It sounds like there are going to be good speakers and forums. Guest guest
Keri, the problem with birth control pills is the reason my OB/GYN is consulting with my primary care on if it's okay to give me anything to restart the menstruation. Since I haven't heard anything in quite some time, I'm thinking they'd rather have me not have a menstruation cycle then have any more pancreatic attacks. My OB/GYN didn't seem to upset by the fact that I'm not having my menstruation cycle, so I'm not going to worry about it overmuch. And it is nice not having the increase in pain, etc. that comes with the cycle. It used to make things so much worse. Hope you continue to have little to no pain with those shots.
