Guest guest
, Congrats, to you. I also received my SSDI on the first try. I don't think you will be eligible for Medicare until you have been on SSDI for 2 yrs. At least that is what they told me. I am fortunate that we have a great PPO insurance from my husbands work. He works for Washington Mutual at a large service center here in So. Calif. The ins. is great but we still have to pay about $300.00 a month for it plus the 10% copay. I am not bitching because I know without this great ins. I would be able to see the DR's I see and I know I would have to jump through hoops to get a referal. I am sorry about your husband. My father was an alchoholic and I know it destroy your life. The ironic thing is that researching the cause for my CP we discovered that he had alcohol induced CP. My problem is pancreas divisum and I have never drank because I saw what it did to my family. I wish you the best in your future if you decide to stay or to leave. Sometimes it takes losing everything before he will open his eyes and make a change. Congrats again, I remember how great it felt to find out I received my SSDI. I need to go know, I can only manage a few post at a time right now because the pain is so severe this last week. Stronger pain meds haven't helped either. Guest guest
, Congratulations on your SSDI award! I have to admit that I'm green with envy......as I am on my first appeal and still haven't heard word one. This is just terrific news for you, and I hope it allows you the freedom and security you need to make life better for yourself. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Guest guest
Congrats on your getting SSD . That is great news. Sorry to hear of your thoughts of leaving your husband. I hope things work out for you. If I can ever do anything to help, please let me know. You have my phone number and if you just want to talk, give me a call, or let me know and I can call you. I hope the PT continues to help with your pain. Have you consider going to your PT while you are having an attack. It has helped me quite a bit in the past if I see my PT while having an attack. Just something to think about I hope this finds you and yours well Mark E. Armstrong NW Rep, PAI www.top5plus5.com casca@... THANK YOU LORD > HI EVERYONE I M SO EXCITED, HAPPY AND THANKFUL. Guest guest
, that is soo good that you've got your social security. I'm still waiting for a trial hearing for mine as they denied the initial claim and my appeal. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Thanks , hopefully it will help and I'll get a judge who won't take my age against me (according to my lawyer, that's my biggest hurdle with social security because I'm only 33, which is really young).
