Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am just so excited. Emma seems to have stopped vomiting. Her last appointment was a few weeks ago and at that time they put her on Zantac. She had been on this previously but it didn't seem to do anything so they took her off it and put her on Prilosec. The Prilosec helped (it got her to eat when she had been on a hunger strike at a year old ... LOL) but she has always continued to vomit to a degree. Her vomiting has gone up and down but basically at a minimum she would do it at least once every two to three days (her full stomach every time). Well, they put her back on Zantac along with the Prilosec and it's going on two weeks that she hasn't vomited. I am almost afraid by mentioning this that it will jinx it but I am so excited I can't help it. She is starting now to actually eat things in between meals. She used to vomit anytime she eat between meals (crackers, pretzels, watermelon, etc). I have my fingers crossed that she will start to actually eat solid foods rather than the pureed foods. It has taken us a long time to get here and I hate to get my hopes up but I can't help it. Anyway, I just wanted to share my excitement. Emma's weight is doing great as well. We just got rid of her latest cold. She has picked up almost every cold we come in contact with this winter. We've been doing extra CPT everyday but maybe one since Christmas so it's nice to have a break. I'll just have to lock everyone in the house to keep her from getting anything else this season. I didn't put my two cents into the one kid thing but I just wanted to say that I really liked Kim Payne's email on cystics. Very well stated. Hopefully, that controversy is over. Talk to you later, - mom to Emma 2 1/2 years old w/cf and reflux and Isabelle 4 1/2 years old wo/cf ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month! Guest guest
I'm so happy for you and your daughter!! We ended up with Adam having a fundo last week and a mic-key button " installed " so he can stop throwing up and try to get more weight packed on. (He just turned one and is 14 pounds). I know how wonderful it is to have less mess! Keep up the good work! Crystal mom to Adam 1yr wcf, le 3yr nocf > Hi everyone, > > I am just so excited. Emma seems to have stopped vomiting.
