Guest guest
Well, I had my first Dr's appt. last Thursday and everything went fine. I was shocked when he walked into the room, he is like 5 yrs. old, LOL. (Probably about my age, 30, but I felt like I was talking to Doogie Hauser!) However, he was great. Very knowledgeable, answered all my first time mom questions, and has had other post op RNY patients and knows all about gastric bypass. This was somewhat of a concern for me, I HATE trying to explain to doctors about wls when they are clueless. Anyways, had a pap and bloodwork, and he wanted me to have an ultrasound because he said I felt like my uterus was bigger than 9 weeks. Had the ultrasound on Saturday, got to see my little peanut and see and hear the heartbeat. Baby is measuring fine at 9-10 weeks! That was truly the most AMAZING thing to see my little peanut! I wanted to start bawling so bad but was in so much pain from having a full bladder, I knew if I did I would pee all over the table, so I managed to get just outside the office before I broke down in tears. Hubby was weepy too. It was so great! Just thought I'd share! C. WLS 8/28/02 EDD 12/31/
