i purchased your slicer!!! thanks - now what brand ham is safe so i can have

ham/cheese again - so psyched!!

Can you put this away easily or do you have to leave it out?  We pretty much have full counters right now except for work space.  I like that website ;-).  Reminds me of something like when you used to go order stuff out of a catalog--Sears or JC Penney.  Wish they had more Women's stuff though like ez clothes--flannel shirts, etc.

Harry has slipped ours back into the plastic bag it came in (to keep dust

off) and has placed it on top of our upright freezer. He usually grumbles

about how heavy my equipment is, but he doesn't mind putting this one up

and down. It's not LIGHT, but it's not pull-my-incision-scar heavy, if

that makes sense. (In fact, he's had it down twice to slice things since

it arrived....)

What you have to look for is a fully salt-cured ham.... the kind that,

before you prepare it, is kept at room temperature!

Then you soak it, and cook it, and slice it!

It depends on the ham. It should have directions with it.
