We are from Des Moines, Iowa. The winter months definitely tend to be

the worst time of the year due to all the viruses floating around. Crisises

can occur at any time of the year, but they tend to hit most frequently in

the winter/spring time.

First sign of crisis we see is a rase in the girls' temperature and a

runny nose/coughing. For Zipporrah we see increased phlegm production and

gagging as well. They will start to sleep more and seem run down and their

appetites decrease. Depending on what the cause is, we may see other

factors. Heat can cause exhaustion and red cheeks and can lead to a crisis

as well.

Hope this helps some.

We live in Minneapolis. Wyatt tends to sleep more when he is

starting to get run down. He usually will sleep more during the

months of January, February, and March. Also in September when he

starts school it tends to wipe him out the first few weeks. As far

as a crisis goes, with him it will just hit out of the blue. No

warning signs, he will just be really sick and start seizing.

Ann,

I am finally getting through a few emails so sorry this is so late in replying to this email. I am also from Wisconsin (West Allis to be exact). Lucas seems to get worse during school. Especially at the start of the year. Lucas has cortical visual impairment and when his vision seems to worsen the rest of his body starts to have issues too.

Loriann

-mom to and (12 yr old twins with ADHD) and

Lucas (8 yrs old, suspected mito encephalomyopathy, cortical visual impairment, hypothyroidism secondary to pituitary malfunction, osteopenia, kyphosis, GERD, impaired motility (severe constipation), global developmentally delayed, J-tube fed since 4 yrs. of age, asthma (freq. croup when younger))
