My 4 year old son -- 46 pounds -- I'm thinking of upping the dosage to:

(All Nordic Naturals -- 8 Children's DHA, 2 Omega 3-6-9, 1/2 tsp

Ulimate Omega Liquid and 1 EPA extra.)

dha1103epa1628other omega 3440Total omega 33244Total Omega

6122LA76GLA36Total Omega 9122OA102Borage Oil180vit a280-390 iuvit d1-8

iuvit e46

So -- too high? I know the DHA may be a little high, but I keep reading

conflicting information on DHA being more important that EPA.

I found it very confusing to read everyone's dosages based up number of

capsules of a specific product so I thought I would break it down to

this. In fact, I made it into a spreadsheet where I could play with the

dosages. If anyone would like the Excel Spreadsheet, I'll be happy to

email it to them.

Are you dividing up the dose? It actually may be EPA that is more important

than DHA - but it may be the ratio that's important - we still don't know,

but you are getting plenty of both.

I really can't comment on whether that is a good combination - and you will

have to let us know your findings.

What I've found to work best is 2 EFA + 1 EPA. We gave this 2x a day for a

while, then up to 3 X a day with excellent effects. It would simply thing

for you if you only needed to give 2 products rather than 4, especially

since they all share similar ingredients. I based the ration on information

known from this site - years of anecdotal experience, then started

increasing the dose from there. Since then many people have had success with

increased doses. But until its studied in a controlled fashion - we won't

know. -
