Guest guest
As well as continuing to work in migrant health, I am also working in hospice care these days. I would like to help myself and fellow hospice providers to learn more about the special challenges that migrants and immigrants face in obtaining appropriate services at the end of life. Any anecdotal reports, observations, or knowledge of research or articles in this area would be much appreciated. Please feel free to forward this request to others who you believe could help. I would also be interested in replies regarding relevant beliefs, customs, concerns -- cultural proficiency issues -- in serving ethnically and culturally diverse individuals and families needing end-of-life care. Many thanks. Replies may be directed to me: Tina Castañares, MDCastañares Consulting637 Highway 141White Salmon, WA 98672509 / 493-1600 voicetina.castanares@...
