Drinking too much?

Hi,

The only thing I know about drinking too much has to do with diabetes. One symptom of diabetes type 1 is drinking too much (being SO thirsty) and yet peeing a lot too.

That's all I know. I hope it's not too scary that I said that. His drinking too much probably has nothing to do with that, but it's the only thing I could think of.

I can't believe I'm writing this but today I'm concerned that Sheldon

might be drinking too much. He only weighs 23 pounds and today he has

so far had 40 oz to drink. It's normally a struggle for me to get 16

ounces into him. It has been warm here today (80 outside) and he has

had diarrhea 7 times (not that uncommon). I'm just concerned that

it's a symptom of a problem, does anyone have any ideas? He's never

had anywhere near this much to drink in one day.

Stacey,

I found the side effects of Ceftin online and thirst and diarrhea

are both on there. I know that with the mito, I have basically every

side effect possible with new meds. I would see if it continues

after he is done with the RX.

Hope this helps, Dawn

Thanks for doing that and thanks to others for their responses.

We're just going to hope it's the Ceftin. He's on it for 20 days so it

could be a while before we know.
