Guest guest
Dear Friends and Colleagues: First of all, I want to thank all of you for the very generous and useful response to my request of literature about health and mental health of Mexican immigrants. It is very comforting to testify the high level of commitment of the members of this e-group to improving the health status of migrants. There is no question that we are all contributing from our own posts, to bring health to those who need it. This time, also for the document that I am preparing, I would like to draw from your own experience in the health field. It would be very helpful if you could please send me a list of the five most prevalent health and/or mental problems (in your practice, health center or hospital as a practitioner, manager or administrator) that you have identified among immigrants from Mexico within the following groups: men, women, children, teenagers, adults and the elderly. Please indicate the geographical area where your health unit or practice is located. Once more, I thank you in advance for your very valuable input.
