Guest guest
Caeden is going in for surgery on Friday the 30th. His granultion tissue keeps getting worse and frequently bleeds. Has anyone had this surgery and does it work? We are also having new tubes put in ears his old ones fell out before a year and he is still getting infections. They said because of the mito the muscles collapse and can't hold them in. He said he would use tubes like he uses on cleft palate kids. So hopefully he will do well. Thanks for any advice. mom to caeden mito myop, CP, FTT, PVL etc etc etc
Guest guest
When we had Wyatt's tube switched to the Mic-Key we had them surgically remove the granulation. So far it has worked for us, however it has only been a week. The site really looks good though. Guest guest
I'm confused where is the granulation tissue? Tarok had a lot of irritated granulation tissue around his G-Tube, and it went away on its own when we switched from BARD to KANGAROO G-Tubes. They both claim to be latex free so I'm not sure what caused the irritation, but it has not come back. Hope this helps! > Caeden is going in for surgery on Friday the 30th.
