I am 12 day post op & I only have 2 bands now. My OS told me that I

can take the bands off while eating. Wow. But he said keep the

chewing to minimal.

What can I eat other than pudding & mash potatoes? Has anyone tried

eating rice? Any more creative Suggestions?

Here are the soft foods I " enjoyed. "

Mashed Potatoes (I had some at every lunch and dinner :)

Sweet Potatoes

Cooked Chopped Spinach

Cooked Squash

Various Meats in the food processor (Chicken, Pork, Beef, yes, even a steak!)

Meatloaf

Applesauce

Soft fruits (peaches)

Oatmeal

Grits

Eggs

Cream of Wheat

Yogurt with Fruit

LOTS and LOTS of Ice Cream

I've had red beans and rice with cajun seasoning, yum, just make sure

the beans are cooked to a mushy consistency. I also had tuna salad

today you could probalby make salad from canned salmon or chicken as

well.
