Guest guest
I thought that with braces and jaw surgery in my future that I better purchase a blender and I thought that you guys may be able to advise me on what to look for when I purchase one. Any features and anything that you would recommend? Thanks!!
Guest guest
I bought a Cuisinart with an interchangeble blender and food processor. It cost about $80.00 but was really worth it. I bleneded things really well the first few days and now I can use the food processor to make things a little thicker. It works out nice. > I thought that with braces and jaw surgery in my future that I better > purchase a blender and I thought that you guys may be able to advise > me on what to look for when I purchase one. Guest guest
Lots of them out there. If you are into smoothies, you may want to get one that has a special ice blade. If you want to just blend, some people opt for a hand blender, it's quick and easy. If you aren't going to be wired, I found a food processor worked great for not liquifying my food, but sort of pre-chewing it for me. ~Cathy Blender I thought that with braces and jaw surgery in my future that I better purchase a blender and I thought that you guys may be able to advise me on what to look for when I purchase one. Guest guest
My husband bought a Kitchenaid blender (he's the cook in our house). We already have a food processor, so he didn't need it to have any extra functions in that respect. I'd read here that it would be good to chose one that's capable of doing ice (that for the adult mixed drinks post-op when you're not on meds), so you might want to spring for a heavy duty one. Think longer-term use.
