Guest guest Posted January 19, 2003 Report Share Posted January 19, 2003 From Jan 2003 issue of " O, the Oprah Magazine: " A recent study of 74,000 postmenopausal women, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, showed that those who walked 5 hours a week, at 3 to 4 miles per hour, reduced risk of heart attack by nearly 50%.
