Guest guest Posted November 10, 2003 Report Share Posted November 10, 2003 MERINGUE: 6 lg. egg whites, beaten stiff Splenda - 1/2 cup is Plenty sweet 1 tsp. vanilla Pinch of salt Add Splenda gradually to beaten egg whites while continuing to beat constantly. Add vanilla and salt. Grease cookie sheet and spoon out batter, using an ice tea spoon. Should make 8 dozen meringues. Can also use Parchment Paper or Paper Towel on cookie sheet in lieu of greased cookie sheet. Bake in 300 degree oven 20-25 minutes. Now.. to ad some " flavors " Drops Divinchi flavored syrups or Extracts work well. If adding Baking Cocoa Powder.. you may want to add a bit more sugar to offset the bitterness of Cocoa powder.
