Guest guest
Could someone tell me why I shouldn't use just any calcium? I know there is a reason, I just can't seem to find it on GFCG site. And what should I know about stearates? (seems I heard something about it). Lolita
Guest guest
We put the Kirkman's calcium in a scrambled egg every morning. We don't have any egg issues and almost always eats them. (BTW Since we can't put milk in them, we use a little water as an emulsifier. It makes them nice and fluffy.) Pat in Ohio

Guest guest
Ok, let's try that first link again... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/htbin-post/Entrez/query? db=m&form=6&uid=2203964&dopt=r You may have to cut & paste the whole thing, if possible, to get the article because it keeps breaking, but I won't know until I send this if it will work. I'll also email them to you personally. ) in NJ

Guest guest
Coral calcium is calcium carbonate and is poorly absorbed. I have read that it also contains heavy metals, which we can definately do without. Calcium citrate is still the most absorbable type of calcium to use. I won't mention the weather here (Ferndale Washington) as it is not snowing. However, it is very cold and windy. The electric blanket, tea and a book sound good to me too. BarbaraJean calcium Good morning, Just a couple of notes. I am 'long of tooth' so I remember when it was cold and miserable we always had comfort foods. Translated that is CARBS ! Pastas,sausages,stews.b-r-e-a-d, gravies..etc..etc...etc. Are we reverting to that mindset this time of the year again? The weather is cold and dreary all over [don't want to hear from you if it isn't] LOL. Just a thought. Each one has to battle those demons in their own way. personally I am choosiinig sitting in a warm bed with tea and a book. (studying!) Another thing...has anyone had personal experience with Coral Calcium? Good> bad> it has caught my attention and I am curious. Thanks for listening. I need to turn up the blanket! hahahahaha Jo In Freakin' cold Oklahoma!
