After the birth of my daughter in 2001 I was diagnosed with a kidney disease. I also have Hypothyroidism. I am currently at my heaviest of 365 pds. I am 5'9. I am scheduled for Lap RNY on 11/17/03 with Dr Drake Bellanger in Baton Rouge, La at Vista Medical Center. I have BC/BS of AL PPO Insurance. If it does, then I think you know the Lyme is gone when the instrument says " This person doesn't test positive for Lyme " . Years ago I had a doc who used a Dermatron for testing and potentized water for homeopathic treatment, and when the instrument tested negative for the disease, she said it was gone. That matched up with my experience of things, too -- the instrument never said something was gone when I still had symptoms of it. Anyway, I don't know of any other test that can tell you Lyme is gone. You could ask the head of Igenex Lab -- if there's an allopathic test, he'd know.
