Guest guest
It truly depends on your doctor. Each surgeon/nutritionist is different. Some doctors will let you have popsicles and jello, some won't. My surgeon had us on nothing but broth, Gatorade, juice and water for the first week--that was his clear liquid diet. After that we were allowed to add creamed soups, and hot cereals. So it really depends on your doc..... T. Guest guest
you must be able to see through it ...my surgeon told me i could have nitrotech from gnc and he also allowed me to have the nectar protein drinks because they were made with water..some use the isopure from gnc as well..i have just never tried them..i am STILL on clear liquids and YUCK i am sick of chicken broth lol...clear means anything that is NOT milky....i have had wonton soup(without the wontons), chicken broth, beef broth, popsicles, crystal lite, decaff tea(with spenda), nectar and nitrotech(for protein) and of course sugar free jello...lots of jello....lol LapRNY 10-21-03 Dr. K.
