Guest guest
I was reading a post about the citrate in the group and wanted to pass on a little tidbit of info. Since the vitamins are so essential for us now none of us want to be taking them and find out later we did something wrong. Well if you take a multivitamin with iron , or an iron tablet, make sure you take it either a hour or two before or after the citrate or it will cancel out the calcium which as we all know is vital to us. Just thought I would pass this along. I keep talking to some who didn't know it. I had to learn through my nutrition class. Wolfie Leeds, Alabama Lap RNY August 27,2003 Dr. Lee A. Guest guest
true wolfie, my NP at the office told me that to take my multi vit in the morning and the calcium at night - she said it didn't matter if it was citrate or not - that may be confusing b/c i've heard different on here but i bought chewable b/c they recommend viactiv and its chocolate and i hate chocolate - i also told her i couldn't stand the flintstones vit and could i keep taking my prenatal and she said sure - i was worried about it going down b/c its pretty big but is coated and it went down fine. visit our website www.geocities.com/tanyarn96/countryside.html www.poncetihomes.com -- calcium citrate and iron...
