Guest guest
Hi again! I've been wondering about something. Since people have said that, early on when you can't have anything but clear liquids, they rely on ice chips and sugar-free popsicles, has anyone considered sugar-free sno-cones? The idea struck me last night and I am thinking of grabbing a sno-cone maker off eBay. Instead of the usual sugary concoctions, though, I'd like to get the sugar-free syrups made by Torani and DaVinci. They're made with Splenda and usually used for coffee and Italian ices. Plus, you get all these great flavors you *can't* get with popsicles--hazelnut, vanilla, coconut, chocolate, mocha, mango, and so on. What do you think? I think it's a terrific idea and a great consolation for post-ops who are missing their yummy sweets. Discuss. : ) Dep

Guest guest
I think it's a great idea if the syrups are sugar free. For me it would have been too much work post op. But I think alot of people would have felt up to it. Candi Sno-cones? Hi again! I've been wondering about something. Guest guest
hi, snow cones or snowballs as we call them here in Louisiana is a great idea - we have one on every corner where you buy the flavor you want and yes they do have the SF for diabetics but when i was pg and had GD and tasted one it wasn't the same so i waited until after the baby to get one.... one thing i did today that turned out good was last week when they promoted me to smoothis and pudding etc -- i first got the gladiator from smoothie king like somebody told me and i get it with banana and mango - YUM.....and 1 20 oz is 50 gms - covers us for the whole day -- then i went and bought pudding but got sick of that and jello real quick so i thought i would mix me a protein drink and add pistachio pudding mix to it and add 1% milk and its awesome.....i don't think this is going to be so bad after all... visit our website www.geocities.com/tanyarn96/countryside.html www.poncetihomes.com -- Sno-cones? Hey , What kind of protein mix do you use for the pistachio pudding type smoothies? This sounded wonderful and I do love the sugar free puddings! It would be a nice change from the protein mixes I use. Wolfie Leeds, Alabama Lap RNY August 27,2003 Dr. Lee A. Schmitt, M.D. Medical Center East Beginning Weight: 336 " Keep Em Laughing! Guest guest
hey wolfie, the protein is called optimum pro complex from GNC and i put 12 oz of milk, 2 scoops of the protein and 1 box of pistacio pudding mix. it does tend to get thick since its pudding but i have a smoothie maker from QVC and i just take the top off and stick it in the fridge and take it out when ready and hit mix and add more milk to make it creamier. its really good. i noticed today they even have a caramel for ppl who like chocolate and even a white chocolate. visit our website www.geocities.com/tanyarn96/countryside.html www.poncetihomes.com -- Re: Sno-cones?
