I think we're more like a family, where most of us know each other well

enough to take into account our particular world views and bias.

Although we may get into heated discussions I suggest that at the end of

the day you will find a LOT of caring here. I know my tendency toward

valuing allopathic care and science in general must drive some bananas!

Gracia's blunt, simple and straightforward approach to hypothyroid

treatment drive some of us up the wall [we regard it as very potentially

dangerous and fatally simplistic] but there's little/no doubt she means

well. And she seems well able to shrug off the pointed rejoinders

without taking offense; and admirable trait. I'll bet she's among the

more caring on the list.

Calling someone " stupid " is, well... Not overly demonstrative of higher

intelligence, manners and education. You would probably get a better

reception here and feel better when you look in the mirror if you were

able to state your strong disagreement more diplomatically.

I wish I were more consistently able to apply that to myself! [ggg]

It's sometimes painfully obvious that some of the messages here do not

originate from those who are highly educated or thinking in a logically

rigorous manner. Sometimes hypothyroidism contributes to that, you know...
