Guest guest
, Good point! I know there have been some times where I couldn't differentiate between original and quoted messages. Even if someone were to put " << >> " around the message being quoted or place their initials (such as LK at the beginning of their reply, that would definitely make messages clearer and easier to read. Speaking of posting messages, tomorrow I'm going to try writing and reading e-mail using JAWS with speech output. Whoo-hoo! I think I can understand enough speech to do a decent job. LOL! But...if you can't read what I've written, at least you'll know why. <smile> Implanted: 12/22/04 Activated: 1/18/05 Nucleus 24 Contour Advance with 3G Deafblind/Postlingual BTE hearing aid user 20 years Severe-profound hearing loss 10 years
Guest guest
Good luck, in listening to Jaws. Sometimes I hear it more than human voices. Re: Posting messages > , > > Good point! Guest guest
Some of us receive the Daily Digest or read the messages online. Because I'm very busy, I appreciate the subject line since it enables me to skim and read only the messages that apply to me. Lately, however, the subject line is staying the same, even if the messages have totally veered onto other topics. Perhaps we can all be a little more specific... Guest guest
Sorry I keep doing that, because when I try to post a new message there is no place for me to type under the subject line. Not sure why. Guest guest
Not to worry, I just noticed from reading messages on the web. Some of the messages get tagged onto a thread that they may not really pertain to. Are you posting from your own email or the group online? Guest guest
My own email. Maybe I should post from the other? Guest guest
If you select " New Message " from your own email, address it to " Iodine " , then you should be able to write in whatever you want for the Subject line. If that doesn't work, let me know. Guest guest
When I do that, there is no space to type like there is now below the subject line. Not sure why.
