It may have been but I'm not positive it was her, it's been a few months or so since the posting. LDN has caused me to have 2 menses cycles a month at age 40 to 43, I've been on LDN for 3 years and been having 2 cycles every month since. Before LDN I would sometimes miss a whole month or even two months and my periods were never regular until LDN. Another person in South Africa started LDN and soon started having 2 menses cycles just like I am. I've had everything tested and it all came back normal. There are some here that have had a full blown period well after menopause and the LDN is the cause. Why it's doing this, I don't know. I just joined the group and am getting the messages in digest form -- plus I've been plagued with computer problems for a week or so, still not solved. I, just as Gayle mentioned, "seemed to be well and truly starting menopause" having had my last period in April, experiencing hot flashes about a dozen times a day since April, and not excreting any kind of vaginal lubrication since April. I should also mention that I am 55 1/2 years old and have shown previous signs of peri-menopause for years -- occasional hot flashes in bed at night, occasional missed periods, reduction in lubrication, watery periods, occasional spotting, etc. I recently started LDN (about four weeks ago) at a dosage of 2.5 mg per my doctor's recommendation. After the first night's dosage I began to notice that each day thereafter I would have less and less hot flashes, until after day 4 on LDN, I wasn't having them anymore at all -- and still haven't to this day. To add to that, after day 5 on LDN I began to excrete vaginal lubrication once more -- and in amounts I haven't seen in many, many years. I am convinced that LDN has jump started my hormones again, and expect my period to start in again any day/hour/minute now. This is really weird for me, and was completely & totally unexpected.
