Not ALL!. My experience is my sensitivities sort of rotate depending on general

health etc.

Example I tolerate dairy for periods of time and then may react on occasion but

I quickly

began to tolerate foods that used to bother me like eggs, nuts andpeanuts.

BTW: It was just discovered that a deficient enzyme may be at the bottom of

peanut

allergy.

We have not seen negative behavior issues with goat's milk or sheep's

milk items.

I have not made cow's milk yogurt and given it to my boys.

About the allergies:

I am on SCD becasue I still breastfeed my daughter. Most items in any kind

of diet were out of reach for us. We started an elimination and rotation

diet well before we knew about SCD. When we reintroduced foods, she was

always allergic to them and I reacted as well. After a long elimination

period, I decided to finally start SCD because there was never going to be a

good time to start it. That is, if I wait until she can eat more foods to do

SCD...well, it was not happening. So I decided that for good or bad, I was

going to introduce foods as SCD foods only!.

Before SCD:

my daughter had severe consitpation

up all night at least 12 times, with long screaming awake periods

did not tolerate most foods, developing actual IgE allergies for most of

them,

with severe reactions that lasted long periods

was very aggressive and with self mutilating behavior,...plus more

many other behavioral problems

getting sick with viral illnesses all the time

her eczema was worse than ever

showing regressions on a daily basis, which was the scariest part

and more

Immediately after starting SCD and continues every day:

normal, non foul, non mucous, formed stools, EVERY DAY, at least once (1-3)

very calmed, energetic and pleasant

gradually getting up 5 times at night to 1-2 now, not screaming, back to bed

fast, still improving every day

able to tolerate foods that she was very allergic to, now we do rotations of

2days a group of foods and she does not eat that again in 14 days. I think

that this has helped her body tolerate

those foods until we heal her gut.

able to tolerate now the probiotics, amino acids and continue successfully

adding to the goal

list of supplements. we add them slowly because of previous severe problems.

her skin is looking much better now.

no more regressions, ever! advancing very nicely every day.

no more self mutilating or aggressive behavior

What it did to me: I had developed a severe form of MCS after delivery and

have been completely disabled since then. I have formal training in Surgery

and Pediatrics and had to stop working alltogether becasue I am allergic to

everything in the hospital, my brain was not working right and I developed a

moderate to severe form of arthritis that does not allow me to work at all.

Since on SCD, I have had an unbelievable recovery. My brain is working just

fine, actually better than ever, and my arthritis is almost gone. my diet is

flying well. And I am planning to start working on a new kind of practice as

soon as I get my daughter back in shape.

All these experiences, including SCD, have completely transformed my family

and my life personally.

Well, I was hessitant to start this diet and followed the group for the

longest time before I decided to start. Now, I follow it sacredly! And I try

to learn as much as I can about it so that, when I get back to work, I can

actually help people.

So, I think SCD is pretty good!
