So true! When I was in my thirties, (and way thinner than I am now), I was

at a fancy-shmanshy affair with my hubby (a work-related thing). As we were

making the rounds going table to table this very SB (skinny b****) who didn't

know me from Adam said, " Oh, when are you due? " " Excuse me? " I said,

clueless as to what she was talking about. " Your baby--aren't you pregnant? "

I looked her right in the eye and said (don't ask me why I said this), " No,

I'm just fat. " I smiled, said, " Nice meeting you, " took my husband's arm and

walked away. Her whole table was stunned and her mouth dropped a mile.

Funny thing, at the time I barely had a little pot so it really didn't bother

me as much as it would now. That is why I avoid all work/social events with

my husband, which I know breaks his heart. He wants to show me off to

everyone at work and I want to hide from the world. Hopefully the surgery

will change all that. (Not the him showing me off part, though! LOL)
