Yes you can get it at Walmart or online at www.drugstore.com I use the

Green bottle with the red cap. One word of advice... use it by itself,

don't mix it with other topicals.

Dr Nase may have recommendations not to use such products, I just know that

it (Gold Bond) works for me and many others. For those of you that might

want to try Gold Bond, best results seem to be when you do not mix it with

any other topicals.

The reason why I say try it by itself is because I have had a few people say

that Gold Bond doesn't work for them but they also say they are using other

topicals such as metrogel along with the Gold Bond. Most people that try it

by itself have had success.

Has anyone else had a burning sensation after using Gold Bond on the

face?

I am using the one with .15% menthol, Yellow bottle, Red top.

I applied it after a shower, the mild burning only lasted about 15

minutes.

Is it worth persevering with it?

After about a week+ of great skin (first time in probably a year), I decided

to live like a teenager for a day. It was my girlfriend's birthday so we

celebrated.. We spent the night at her Uncle's cottage, pigged out on potato

chips, went out to dinner at Red Lobster, drank champagne, had birthday

cake, etc... So afterwards I had my biggest flush in probably 9 months.

Three days later its still a problem. It calms down and flares up, but my

skin has obviously not normalized yet or something. Anyway.. the point of

this message.. I was really upset so I tried Gold Bond on my whole face

praying that it might help. I did this because I had weird dry, skin flaky

looking things over all of both my cheeks, which I never had before (usually

for me skin flakes are localized to a small area on my cheeks). The next

day some (maybe 30%) of the dryness was gone. However, when I applied the

GB (I use the one in the green bottle) My skin started to burn. (didnt

bother me too much cuz the menthol cooled it off at least). Then my face

got BRIGHT red (even worse than before) And it stayed that way for about 24

hours.

I had a tingling sensation, not really a burning sensation. I think I had

some burning before the symptoms went away. It took a couple of weeks for

the symptoms to go away. Good luck!
