Yes, Caveman would be using his apparatus all the time, but Caveman's girl

is not ready yet for this endeavor. When she is ready, caveman will be on

the road for good. I hope he gets a lap top and a satellite so we can find

them from time to time.

My mother has Crohn's and since she had a stroke 9 years ago, goes to the same

neurologist that I do. Her gastro doctor has no option but steroids, sigh, and

our neuro would not give it to me or to her. I finally got it in Mexico and it

has turned both of us around totally. Since we do not have a knowledgeable

doctor (even if one had given the prescription, we probably know more than they

do) we have been infinitely happy with the advice that we get on this group and

all of the research that we have done on the internet. It is the same research

that the doctor would have to do, since this is the only info out there at this

time.

I do agree that having the blood tests is a good idea, and the comfort of having

a knowledgeable doctor would be wonderful, but sometimes we have to finally take

our health (not our sickness) into our own hands. Many members of the list

continue to get the blood tests, etc through their regular doctors and when the

improvements come in, then they can tell the doctor what they have been doing to

see those great results. More than one doc has come around with that approach.

Interestingly enough, Crohn's is the one malady that we have really good test

data for. It put more than 2/3 of the test subjects into full remission, like my

Mom and more than 87% had significant improvement. Find that result with any

other drug, I would suggest you use the other drug. But there is not one out

there, so LDN is still the " answer. "

to treat something it was not tested to treat. In my case it is Crohn. I checked

with both my family and gastro specialist. From what I hear I can only buy in in

Mexico and if I have to I will go there later this year - but even then it would

be nice to have someone check your bloodwork and monitor your progress. There

would be no such help from the doctors that refused the prescription in the

first place. Any other ideas?

You dont need to travel to Mexico (especially now!) to buy Naltrexone to make

your own dose. You can order online without a script from River Pharmacy or All

Day Chemist. You will receive full dose Naltrexone pills and you`ll need to

dilute with water to dissolve and thus making LDN.

I am sorry if I gave the impression that you have to go to Mexico to get it. We

travel there anyway and took the opportunity to visit the clinic that offers it

(they were for Alcoholics originally but are getting more and more excited about

the LDN part). I have not traveled to India or New Zealand or Canada to visit

those facilities, but I have no doubt that should be good too. It is cheap at

our dose no matter where you get it. I think having as many options as possible

with good reports from our members just makes sense. I am always scared that

they will close down more than one venue, like bringing it in from Canada or

something, so knowing there are more options is a good thing, me thinks :-)
