Barb and Sunni, Well, here's one person who has lots of foot, hand, and other spasms. Most of mine

come from sudden, zinging nerve pain that draws the muscle up into a knot for a bit. Usually, they

let go pretty quickly, but sometimes they repeat and repeat and repeat. The only thing I have found

that works for me is Allegra 60 mg. These are a prescript. medication, my doc gets for me. Taking

half of one of these tablets calms my immune response to the nerve pain, then lets me sleep at

night. My spasms happen usually when I start to relax, although they can hit at any time. Mostly,

I get them when I am trying to sleep, or happen to take a short rest during the day. My feet are the

worst, but I get them in my hands, neck, head, vaginal area, rectum, and back, too. Isn't this fun?

NOT. Anyway, hope this info is helpful. Loving hugs, MM

Sunni, I have not had the problem you are describing. I have not heard of anyone having it either. Are you by any chance stressing your foot and toe and then when you relax it is causing the spasm? I'll be curious to see if anyone else posts with this problem.

In the past week, I have had my second toe pull down into a painful spasm and hold there. It has only happened while I am sitting down in a chair with my feet up. I do get leg pains on that side sometimes, but nothing to worry about.Does anyone have any idea what may cause this? I do have heart problems so I am wondering if any of you have any info on if it could be related to circulation. Thanks,Sunny"The LUPIES Store" Come check out our store...http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies"The LUPIES Web Page"http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html"The LUPIES online photo albums!"
