Guest guest
Alan, Regardless of what you may think about him politically, if anything trickled down from the late Reagan, it was his optimism. Copy his example and keep thinking positively about your resurfacing future. An old flame? Didn't you mention a wife in a previous post, or am I confused? Buy a pair of Ted hose and a handicap grabber. Practice putting them on enforcing the 90-degree rule your left leg. If you can manage this, you might make it solo, especially if you can get someone to drop by once or twice a day. Dave > Yo, Hippies... > > Been watching, reading, waiting. Guest guest
Alan, Good luck with your insurance issues. I had no problem going it alone. Mine was due to a character flaw related to an unwillingness to rely on those close to me for assistance. The TEDs can be a bit tricky early on. I was released from OH and flew back to the East Coast that day. I drove to work on day seven and I had my right hip done. I had to get in the car like a race car driver. I suggest you, 1) have it done in LA, and 2) hook up with the " old flame " and get some mileage out of your pain and distress. Even if you are not in pain, really play it up and go for the sympathy vote. Just a thought. Almost sad how my mind works. Good luck.
