Stacey,

EMG's are NOT really painful, while there are needles inserted, it is

no more painful than any simple needle (such as a shot). I had this

done in my arms and legs only about 2 weeks ago, I also had an EEG

and I have had the nerve conductions done to (and think there were

more painful due to the electrical shock feeling but only temporary).

After the EMG I left and went shopping and have NO problems at all,

it is just the imediate pain as the needle is inserted, so don't

worry to much OK.

Stay well and look after that wrist. Hope the family stuff settles

down soon and that you sort out your personal stuff as well.

Hi Sharon

Thank you for your reply. Did you get anything for the temporary pain

of the emg? did you end up missing any time off work or daily

activities? I just started a new job so really cant miss out on hours

of work. Thanks again for the reply
