Belgium September 7th Anyone?

Hi everyone,

I have been rather quietly soaking up all the intelligence on this web

site while I decide what to do about my rapidly deteriorating hip!

It's almost certain now that I will have surgery with Dr. De Smet on

September 7th and after all the positive comments from others I'm

actually looking forward to it.

Is anyone else scheduled for that week?

A couple of questions for those who have been there before me:

Did anyone have a family member stay in the hospital accomodation?

What is it like? Any recommendations for B&B accomodations near the

hospital or elsewhere (for post Holiday Inn stay)? Any other words of

wisdom? Any suggestions for best flight routes/airlines from Vancouver

(BC)?
