Guest guest
Dear Stacey: I want to apologize, as I had some major computer problems in the past week & all kinds of email that I thought went out, didn't & visa versa.... mail sent here, didn't get here, so basically, the mail I had sent to you @ most of this, apparantly & other stuff, is in cyberspace somewhere... But now I see what actually wound up happening & am glad, though you had to go through all that you did, (ER's are ER's!) at least you know what's wrong. The majority of your symptoms could have come from a UTI, I'm just trying to figure out where your breathing issue came into play with all of it & the Doc giving you a sedative for it, unless maybe they thought you were hyperventilating a bit? check what I wrote later on that. I understand an antibiotic (though I haven't a clue what's on the market that could clear a UTI in 3 days, but I guess perhaps there's one I don't know about.) And the sedative.............. maybe he thought you were so upset, which could happen especially if you have even a slight case of asthma, as you could surely feel a symptom & then, almost like a bit of an anxiety attack, with you thinking that it will progress, it does... but I'd stay on top of that, for sure. I also agree with you, that dropping it to 15mg. didn't really make any sense. Either it's right for you or it isn't. And if it isn't & you have respiratory symptoms because of it, then I don't understand why any Doc would suggest that you even go near it. But hey, I'm just a nurse & can't give out advice or suggestions anyway! So, as a precaution, you just might want to still check in with your regular MD as a follow up, as a UTI can be diagnosed with a simple urine test & your breathing issue should be checked as well, just to be safe. This week, Dell replaced my motherboard, which was a new problem & my Ac adapter that just started to fray & since I have it, 1/2 the time, the CD drive cover pops off when I open it, so they replaced that too & it used to jump to the top of the page from time to time, so they put in a new touch pad. And this computer is 9 months old! And, it was a new replacment for the one I acutally bought almost 12 months ago that had a major internal problem. I typed & saw certain letters, but the receiver saw others..... And they wonder why computers have come down in price so much... They probably have 6 y.o. kids in 3rd world countries, putting them together. How happy am I that I have the in home, complete care warranty!! It's crazy. Yet my old Dell 7500, that's @ 5+ years old still works fine. It did have some things replaced from time to time, but this one has had more in 2 months, then the last one ever did! So it goes. Oh, before I forget, I'm going up to Buffalo early to help & am leaving in the AM (Sunday), did you want me to send out the Biofreeze now, (it's no problem at all) or wait unitl next week when I get back?
