THE NIH is short for The National Institutes of HEalth and there are various

departments or Institutes within that. The CEDA study has switched from the

INstitues of Genetics and something else to NIA which is the National Institue

on Aging. The first study had a large longatudinal aspect to it....to see how

we did over time. By switching to the NIA, Clair was able to be near her home

in Baltimore and probably allowed some other more medical good reasons too.

Hope that helps if it hasn't been said yet.

I'm so happy for everyone!! How come no one picked on any of what they are

doing and had to offer before though? :) I thought I let you all know how

wonderful they were each time I went. Anyways, I'm glad for you all now. I will

be

back up there Wed. , Nov 10th if anyone is going to be there then. Clair and I

are hoping to have lunch then.

Hugs,

Thanks for the reply .

I am glad they are looking at the three disorders; perhaps to find ways to

differentiate the three.

: that makes so much sense since with having EDS, aging-like

problems may occur much earlier, fractures, dislocations, arthritis etc.
