Guest guest
I've got AVN too. The devious nature of AVN is that you can get your good weeks or even months, but the pain usually comes back worse each time. I finally had a resurfacing, but it was an easier decision for me because it was during one of those intensely painful periods. I only had my left leg done, but also have AVN in the right hip. I have had about two months now of very little pain and was enjoying being able to do things like exercising again. Unfortunatley, my right hip has started to go out in the last few weeks. Once the pain gets too intense, I will have the right resurfaced too, but I will do it a lot sooner this time. The AVN just never got better and I have had a taste of what it is like to be pain free again. > Back in December when I first felt the pain from AVN it was intense. > I could only walk a few blocks until the pain was too bad.
