She wanted the comfort of seeing Bills things in our apartment and helping me

pack up things. As it turns out I plan to move to a smaller apartment where I

can be near friends. The apartment came up today. So, I guess I cannot plan a

visit here. My MIL will have to settle to just see his things. Or plan a trip

to the new apartment.

It is bad when the immediate family are all ill.

Caro,

Travelling with dialysis is a very difficult thing - you might want to

consider travelling to her rather then have her travel to you. Her trip

ought to take weeks to plan so that she can continue her dialysis regimen at

a hospital close to you and have all of the proper preparations made well in

advance for her continued care. She needs the OK from her physician and

renal care team and she needs to be stable before making the trip at all.

Congratulations on the new apartment Caro, I hope you enjoy being closer to

your friends and find a smaller place more easy for you to get around in. I

am sure though, that the move will be emotionally tough as well, leaving

behind the memories of Bill. He is really though, always with you.

Your mother in law has a full plate with her conditions and healing from

surgery, she might be better off visiting at a time when she is feeling more

up to par and is stronger. It would be difficult for you to have to care

for her as well as your own issues!

I hope this move goes smoothly for you!
