Jill,

It sure doesn't happen very often to come across someone with EDS, esp. how my

neighbor came across her, and she already knew me with it.

I looked up her number and it wasn't listed. So I plan on dropping off some

literature and way to contact me, when I'm next over that way. (our ortho

doctors are in buildings next to each other.)

Not yet, but when I go over on the other side of town, I plan on stopping in to

her ortho's office to drop off some EDS info, my e-mail address, and phone #.

I hope to get over that way Monday at the latest. (my surgery is Tues)

My neighbor said this lady *really* wanted to talk with another person with EDS

, esp. when she learned I too had this....& we live so close.

After being in need of a diagnosis for 22 years, and gone through what so many

do, she needs make contact with some one, given some EDS info, and contact info

for support groups etc.

I know that when you do make contact with her, she'll be thrilled and really

feel a sense of belonging with you. It was a fortuitous meeting that

brought your neighbour to her indeed!

my neighbor wanted a 2nd opinion from an ortho dr, and her insurance co.

referred her to the same dr. the lady[janet] goes to. what a co-incidence.

haven't made it over to that office with info yet, but should be able to next

monday. my neighbor is driving me to the hand clinic i go to that's a bit

further away.

i'd love to meet her.
