Guest guest
1. I can't perform -- for acting, my body isn't reliable enough and I'm a danger to other actors; for music, I simply can't manage the dexterity or strength needed (sometimes I can't even hear clearly enough -- ARG) 2. I can't " play " -- even using the laser pointer to play with my cats can be too much. 3. I can't travel -- staying in one position for longer than 15 minutes is impossible anymore. 1. Therapy -- I would probably have never dealt with myself, much less managed my anxiety issues... 2. I've become incredibly thankful for what I DO have -- , the cats, my very few friends, and my mind (what's left of it)... 3. I'm much more aware -- of myself, of others -- and of how powerful one person can be. Thanks, Jill. I needed reminding of the good... I can't be physically active in general 3. I have had to quit many interests/activities including being active in the Red Cross Name three things that have positively changed your life because of EDS 1. I have got some wonderful friends I would never be without and have seen places I would probably have never seen without the EDS!!! 2. I have learned many things, including respect for other people, perspective and that seeing the positive in different situations and focusing on what you can do instead of what you can't, really can change your life for the better! 3. I had to quit my old job, but went to college, and got a new one which is more interesting, challenging and rewarding. Aase Marit
