Guest guest
Hey Rhea, I am so thrilled to hear that things are starting to progress fo ryou and that your cardiologist is being so thorough! I know you're not looking ofrward to the tests, but as you said at least this way they will find out what is happening and be able to make more moves into helping you feel better. If it's any consolation I have to have the full tilt table test done too (supposed to be Sept 6th but will have to cancel as I'm in hosp that week) so we can get nervous together hee-hee!! I'm so thrilled ot hear that your back fracture is healed up!! Yippee - virtual party time! You must be so releived to get out of that darned brace, but I'm guessing you are also a little apprehensive about being without it too. Please take care and enjoy building up your stamina again. Did the surgeon have anything to say on your pain and spasms by the way? Hope he was able to help you and give some reassurances that things will improve. Thanks for sharing yoru news Darl, you have cheered my day immensely! Thinking of you and I'll email properly tomorrow. Love and hugs....Jo xx

Guest guest
YAY! Rhea, You must be SO HAPPY to finally be able to start getting out of your " turtle shell " ,he he he. it must be so awfully uncomfortable in your summer to wear it (not so bad here as it is Winter). Take it easy on the weaning process and don't overdo it (with your osteoporosis) you don't want any kind of relapse or anything. Look after yourself and stay well and happy. Also so nice to hear they are going to such length about the tachy at least this way you should get real answers SOON after the appointment and hopefully be put on the correct drugs and get rid of the other awful symptoms you have been suffering with. Guest guest
OH my Rhea, the good news and the bad! Tilt table? Uck. sorry, but the results can sure give allot of answers. So glad to hear about your brace! that has to be a relief!. & hours to the Cardiologist???? Wow! That is a long way. Can you sit in a car that long? I'm so glad you fracture has healed. That is wonderful news! You've been through allot. How's the fur kid? Is his leg better? Cindylouwho 2 more appointments down---back is healed! Phew! We've had a wild week. On Weds we had to leave at 5am, drive almost 7 hours straight to get to Hamilton where I saw the cardiologist for my appt. RE my constant tachycardia. Guest guest
Thanks gals! Yes, I am very pleased :-D As for the pain and spasms, he thinks its just my body adjusting to time out of the brace and starting to have to get strong again. Gosh is my trunk ever weak!!! And a weak trunk is also making my shoulders more prone to microtraumas. I've strained the muscles/ligaments on the inside part of m y shoulder blade for the THIRD TIME in 2 weeks. Here's hoping PT is more successful this time round'. Jo---ohhh no, not you too! Let me know how it all goes... it certainly doesn't sound like a barrel of laughs huh. I'm particularily dreading the IV as they have such a rough time getting one in. Sharon--Thanks hun. I hope you've been feeling better! How is your shoulder and knee now? Cindy--Thanks! Raffi is actually doing really well now!!! It looked iffy for a week or two when his skin breakage was so bad they had to take the splint off 4 weeks early! Thankfully, his skin has healed really well except for one bad sore (hopefully just needs more time) and he's using his leg a whole lot! It's such a beautiful site to see after months of splints for him. Jill--Thank you! I hope things turn around for you very soon. How are you feeling today?
