Guest guest
Hi Barb, Do you know if there are such rules, as the below one you gave the link to, against discrimination when you use transport as an airport shuttle from one airport to another? I had real problems the last time when a bus driver refused to take me because I had wheelchair and luggage. He left me stranded three times, even if the clerk at the desk called the boss. Finally a fellow passenger, more or less hijacked the bus, she turned all the other passengers against the driver and I finally got on my way, and barely got there in time to reach my plane home from F. Kennedy. This was a shuttle service from Newark to JFK... I have to use this service again. I have been in contact with them, but would feel really good if I had a paper to show the driver if any problem should arise. Taking a cab or another service instead, would be very expensive... Thanks a lot!!!! Aase Marit >http://airconsumer.ost.dot.gov/rules/382SHORT.htm

Not too familiar with this as I have really only traveled with my manual chair as I had heard too many horror stories from other EDSers about traveling with a power chair.
