Hi Everyone!

Just thought I'd let you know I got out yesterday!

After a bit of a concern (when my surgeon suggested a normal thr or a

ceramic one pre surgery).

I awoke to the best news possible; I'm now the proud owner of a large

head metal on metal thr, utilizing the original bhr pelvic cup.

The surgeons where well chuffed with what they found or didn't........

No sign of infection, just the bhr loose on the femur, a bone section

has been sent away for tests but they don't think there will be any

problems.

I'm getting about really well, on 2 sticks at the mo, staying with my

mum for a week or so for loving support and a downstairs loo!

I'm going to be part of a report as it's so rare for a bhr to loosen for

no apparent reason.

Thanks again for all your support pre and post op.

Looking forward to talking with you all again.

A slightly sore !
