I DO suggest you go ahead and see your OB so you can start on those terribly (lovely) prenates since we do deal with the malabsorption problems (at least you do if you have had the RNY GB like myself) My first ultrasound was VERY exciting.. hubby was floored that we could see the heartbeat already, but he will not be thrilled that the fast heartrate MAY indicate a girl! LOL! We are really hoping for a boy since he has 2 girls from a previous marriage, but like you said, we will take whatever we get as long as he or she is healthy!!!!!!
