Guest guest Posted December 2, 2004 Report Share Posted December 2, 2004 Hi there, I have been reading mail about Grace and her needing to have surgery due to something called rockerbottom. Will somebody please explain to me what this is. I am concerned my daughter may have something that could possibly be this. Connie is 17 weeks old and has been in the DBB since 5th November, this follows 7 casts. The position of the foot is now fine but her foot looks very odd. The middle of her foot is very flat and seems to be lower than her heel so when I stand her up the middle of her foot is on the ground and her heel isn't. Has anybody else come across this? My consultant agrees that it is flat but thinks it could be baby fat which will go in time. Is he giving me false hope?
