I also read that homes with more than 2 pets actually help children

develop resistance to alergies. I cant remember where I read this but

did remember that is what they said. - Diane

> When we had our son 4 years ago we had 3 cats. We now have 5 and 2

huge dogs. I think having the animals around our son has made him a

kinder and more compassionate child. Yes its a lot of work to clean

the house of all the hairballs....but I do it. The animals all love

and our dogs are super protective of him like 2 extra moms and

most of our cats sleep in his bed each night (he has a full size

bed). We taught him very young to be kind and respectful not to hurt

the fur babies and he is such a good kid.
