New Dr's on Dr. Ponseti's list

Congratulations to the New doctors listed on Dr. Ponseti's web

site. They have added 37 new doctors worldwide since the last time

that I really counted. There are now a total listed of about 60 in

the United States and 54 in other countries around the world. It is

likely that there are many more doctors using the method or at least

portions of it, but that are not listed on Dr. Ponseti's site.

There are about 600 pediatric orthopedic doctors who are members of

the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA). At a

2002 meeting of POSNA in Salt Lake City, about half of those in

attendance raised their hand to say that they were using at least

some form of the Ponseti method in their treatment regime.

I tried to only list those doctors who are new and not all 114. It

is interesting that only 21 of the 50 States in the U.S. are
