Guest guest Posted January 30, 2004 Report Share Posted January 30, 2004 Ok, I have never actually asked my surgeon how long to wait to get pregnant, and I kinda took the 18 month mark from listening to other people talk. I should call my surgeon, but was wondering anyhow, I am almost 13 months out, and getting really impatient. how important is waiting for that 18 months to pass? I want a healthy baby so I'm willing to wait, but I don't wanna. lol. I am getting my IUD pulled out sometime in the next 2 weeks because it it becoming painful and I don't want any scarring, but I plan on going on the BC patch. I also know that it has a small, very slim chance of failing, but if it did fail, would it be too terribly horrible?
