I just had WLS in December and was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. I am curious to know how WLS effects PCOS and how many people who have had PCOS were able to get pregnant after WLS without the help of medication. We want a child very badly and have not been able to find answers to our questions. I know I have to wait until my weight is stabilized (12 mos post-op). I know it can be dangerous if we try now (3 mos post-op). I am getting anxious as time passes but I know we must wait it out. I just recently stopped taking my birth control (Nuva Ring) and using alternative methods, however, I am still nervous about getting pregnant so early post- op.
