Guest guest Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Has anyone had experience with both shoe types? had the Markell shoes, and we had a dreadful experience with them. He has since had 2 more casts and a second tenotomy, and I am terrified about putting him back into the same shoes. (his casts come off in 3 weeks.) The doctor had mentioned ordering the shoes, but when I spoke to him after the tenotomy, he seemed very vague about it, and seems to want to take a " wait and see " approach. I know that the shoes take 2 - 3 weeks to get sent off, so if the Markell shoes don't work again, there will be a long waiting time before the other shoes arrive. However, we already have the Markell shoes, and it seems like a waste of precious money ordering other shoes, if these ones will be fine. However, if the difference between the shoes is really remarkable, perhaps I should insist on the shoes straight away, and not even try the Markell ones again?? and Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
